Chad is the owner and founder of CBIG. Chad is a licensed Medicare Insurance Agent in NC, SC, and Ga. Additionally, Chad is a North Carolina licensed attorney and a NC Board Certified Social Security Disability Law specialist. Chad opened CBIG to ensure that people on disability and those with lower incomes receive the same quality Medicare guidance as those with greater financial means. To make sure that happens, Chad never charges for his consulting services. CBIG is dedicated to providing Medicare services to people on Social Security disability benefits. Chad routinely speaks on Medicare related topics and is considered an authority on Medicare subsidies for the poor and disabled.

Melissa B. Fowler
Melissa is a native of Iredell County, North Carolina. In 2005, Melissa graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, a concentration in Pre-Professional Legal Studies, and a minor in Criminal Justice. In 2007, Melissa earned a Paralegal Certificate from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Melissa has over 10 years of experience working as a paralegal, much of that time spent assisting clients with their disability claims. In 2020, Melissa became a Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent working primarily with Medicare recipients receiving disability. During her free time Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Derek, their two children, and two dogs.

Renee Brown
Renee is a licensed Medicare Insurance Agent in NC, SC, and Ga. Renee is a Family Nurse Practitioner by education, but she works at CBIG to ensure that our clients are matched with the best plans based on their medical providers and prescription drug needs. With a 20-year background in healthcare from the provider side, her insight helps to ensure that CBIG clients receive the highest quality assessments of their provider and prescription drug needs under Medicare and how those can best be met. Renee also manages CBIG’s ACA health insurance division.

Kayla Kennedy
Kayla is a North Carolina licensed health and life insurance agent. She focuses her work on helping disabled individuals navigate Medicare. Additionally, she assists clients with burial expense and life insurance needs. Prior to working with CBIG, Kayla had a varied background in auto sales and administrative work in the dental/ orthodontic field where she focused on customer service. Kayla has a passion for helping people and working with CBIG allows her to help individuals maximize their Medicare benefits and reduce their anxiety around obtaining the best healthcare possible. In her spare time, she enjoys any and all outdoor related activities with her husband and son.
